Delete your account and data

This page explains how users of YT Scanner can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. YT Scanner is operated by YT Technologies PLC for organizations using YT DMS.
Who should delete your account
Your organization (employer, school, or institution) usually manages YT DMS accounts. Ask your organization administrator first — they can remove your user, revoke access, and delete or archive documents according to internal policy.
Request deletion from YT Technologies
If you cannot reach your administrator, or you need platform assistance, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account (if any) or include your registered phone number and organization name (company name you use to sign in, e.g. yt).
We will verify the request with your organization when required, then delete or anonymize account data held on the YT DMS platform, subject to legal retention obligations.
What is deleted
- User profile (name, phone number, role assignments) in your organization's tenant.
- Authentication tokens and login history associated with your account.
- Documents and files you uploaded, unless your organization must retain them for legal, audit, or contractual reasons — in that case access is removed but copies may remain per org policy.
What may be kept temporarily
Encrypted backups and server logs may be retained for a limited period for security and disaster recovery, then rotated according to our hosting practices. We do not use deleted account data for advertising.
Timeline
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Your organization may apply its own retention rules for business records.
